Hi I’m Eve Bell-Iyer, a fine artist based in the Bay of Plenty, creating emotive, light-filled oil paintings that celebrate beauty, presence and the quiet strength of the human spirit.
My work is grounded in realism and often draws from personal moments to explore universal themes like memory, connection and joy. Whether I’m painting expressive portraits or the abstract seascapes, I focus on capturing feeling, inviting stillness, reflection and a sense of calm.
I hold a Bachelor of Creative Industries majoring in Fine Art and live in the beautiful beachside town of Ōhope with my partner and two girls. When I’m not painting, you’ll find me enjoying a coffee or hike with friends, the occasional cocktail, and my calm happy place by the sea with my family. Art is my therapy, and I create each piece with the hope of uplifting and connecting with others.
