Arts Whakatane

Showcase
local
talent

Local Talent Showcase

Saturday 5 March at the Amphitheatre, Riverbank:
5 – 7 pm, koha.

- Adam and Belle Warner, guitarist
- Trace Tidd's performing arts students

- Various Dance Groups
- Ronna Funtelar live poetry
- The Eboppers Jazz Band

Vaccination pass required, mask wearing encouraged.

Arts Whakatane member Beryl Wilson will co-ordinate the project in conjunction with Ronna Funtelar. The various Dance groups in the local region have been invited to come and participate. This gives the various groups the opportunity to showcase their style of Dance and encourage people to join up to one of the groups offering regular classes

Trace has performed in countless musicals and concerts throughout New Zealand and in Melbourne, Australia. After seeing the world, Trace returned to Whakatane in 2010 and started teaching Singing Lessons and Musical Theatre Classes. In 2014 she quit her 'real job' and founded Stage Door Performing Arts Academy.
