Theatre Whakatane - Gateway Drive
Theatre Whakatane is a not for profit, community based performing arts incorporated society, registered as a charitable organisation under the charitable organisations act and is currently tax exempt under New Zealand law. The society has been incorporated since 2004 following the amalgamation of Whakatane Musical Theatre Incorporated and Whakatane Repertory Society Incorporated.
There are no restrictions on membership of the society and the society operates under a set of rules lodged with the New Zealand Charities commission.
